The weather here in Belchertown has been HOT! For those of us who workout outside, here are a few tips to stay cool during the heat wave.

 

    • Stay hydrated.  Drink water before, during and after a workout.

 

    • Try to stay in the shade as much as possible.

 

      • Take it easy.  These aren’t the days to push yourself to the max.

 

    • Wear lightweight clothing.

 

  • Change the time of day so you aren’t out when the sun is the strongest (10 – 5)
